Happy Monday! Excited to share a few favorites from Lauren & Tyler’s engagement session with you today, photographed at The Boarding House in River North. As the rain was on and off outside, it was the perfect day to snuggle up indoors, have a drink and watch the rain fall on the windows. So looking forward to their Gallery 1028 wedding with Estera Events this October XO
On Saturday I photographed Meredith & Michael’s beautiful wedding and on Sunday I woke up to see them and a photo from their engagement session featured in The New York Times! Congrats you two!! It truly was an honor to photograph your day. Looking forward to sharing more from Meredith & Michael’s intimate restaurant wedding soon! Be sure to check out the full feature online and read more about this sweet couple.
Excited to share some of my favorites from the Samantha Sleeper 2018 lookbook shoot a few weeks ago in NYC during #nybridalmarket. This collection is seriously stunning (Brides, take note!) and it was such an honor to photograph. Check out the full collection currently featured on New York Magazine’s The Cut XO
A gorgeous date night inspired engagement session to share with you today! Jessica and Joel are just the sweetest couple and I loved their idea of photographing at drumBAR, located on the top floor of the Rafaello Hotel in the Gold Coast neighborhood. I am anxiously awaiting their wedding this September at The Ivy Room and excited to work with Estera Events on their big day. Cheers!
When I said I couldn’t stay away from the Big Apple for long…I meant it! SO excited to be back in NYC this weekend for NYC bridal fashion week. On my last trip to NYC, I had the pleasure of visiting Samantha Sleeper at her Brooklyn studio and I’m thrilled to be collaborating with her this weekend. She’s unveiling her 15 piece collection and I am just dying to see it!! Be sure to follow along on Instagram (@natalieprobst and @samantha.sleeper) for lots of behind the scenes snaps. XO
Well this is an exciting first! Jessica & William are featured on the cover of Naperville Magazine!! Their Arranmore Polo Club wedding with Estera Events was absolutely gorgeous and I loved reliving their day when flipping through the pages of their feature. Seeing my work in print is always exciting but seeing it on the cover of a magazine was extra sweet. Congrats you two! XO
Aren’t Jenny and Peter the most gorgeous couple!? I first worked with this beautiful duo on their Public Hotel Chicago rehearsal dinner last summer and have been wanting to photograph them again ever since. This time we went in studio to create some gorgeous portraits of the pair in their wedding attire and another formal look. (Jenny’s Monique Lhuillier wedding dress deserves another moment, am I right?) Thank you to Joanna B Artistry for collaborating on this shoot with me! XO
This year has and will be an exciting year for NPP. While my love of fashion photography has always played into my wedding work, those two loves will be merging together in a bigger way in 2017. Last month I traveled to NYC to learn from the talented Lara Jade during a two-day studio fashion photography workshop at COLONY Studios. It was an amazing trip and I am so excited to bring some new insight into the #NPPStudioSessions. I’ve followed Lara for many years (her book is included in my collection) and was so looking forward to learning from her, as well as her creative team. Our two models were insanely gorgeous, hair and makeup nailed every look, and Sachin & Babi was the perfect choice for wardrobe. While the actual studio images were so much fun to shoot, I love the behind the scenes perspective and wanted to share a few of my favorites images. More of this style of work coming your way soon and my latest studio session hits the blog this Wednesday! XO
There isn’t anything that could take away the glow Emily and Danny have when they are around each other, not even a little rain. After the Chicago weather threw us for a loop with rain sweeping in every other hour, these two weren’t about to reschedule their session. Instead, they decided to wait out the rain (champagne in hand, of course) and I was oh so happy they did. Emily and Danny will be married at Bridgeport Art Center this September and I just can’t wait!
